Hello dear traveller,  

my name is Christine and I would like to accompany and support you on your language journey.   

After my studies in educational science, I worked in various fields such as psychiatric clinics, day-care centres, child and youth welfare services and primary schools. Finally, I found my passion through an internship at a language school and the subsequent teaching of German as a foreign language to international students at the Technical University of Berlin.  

Why this affinity with vocabulary and grammar? Because there is much more to learning a new language. First and foremost, it means meeting people from all over the world.   Teaching a language goes far beyond explanation, it is varied and exciting and requires sensitivity and flexibility to understand and support each learner with their unique combination of experiences, interests and goals.  

Learning a new language allows you to see the world through different eyes and is incredibly enriching and exciting. Your individual learning style also requires methods that are tailored to you, so on your journey you will not only learn a new language, but also a lot about yourself: What kind of learner are you, which language skills come easier to you than others, do you learn better in one-to-one lessons or in a group, through books or apps, series or conversations?
